General

What is Trackberry?

Trackberry is a platform for managing fresh produce shipments. It automates document processing, quality checks, and real-time tracking for the fresh produce supply chain.

Who is Trackberry for?

Trackberry is designed for:

  • Importers — Receive and validate packing lists and quality documents from suppliers
  • Exporters — Share shipment data with buyers transparently
  • Quality managers — Automate quality validation and track compliance
  • Logistics coordinators — Monitor shipment progress in real-time

What produce types does Trackberry support?

Trackberry currently supports:

  • 🥑 Avocados — Hass and other varieties
  • 🍇 Grapes — Table grapes including Thompson, Red Globe, etc.
  • 🍊 Citrus — Oranges, lemons, mandarins
  • 🫐 Blueberries
  • 🍈 Pomegranates

Support for additional produce types is added regularly.

Documents & Processing

What file formats are supported?

Trackberry can process:

  • Excel files (.xlsx format) — recommended for packing lists (most reliable extraction)
  • PDF documents (packing lists, quality reports, phytosanitary certificates)
  • Images (.jpg, .png) — processed with OCR

For packing lists specifically, Excel files produce the best results because Trackberry reads cell values directly without needing to reconstruct table structure from the page layout.

How accurate is the data extraction?

Trackberry's extraction engine achieves high accuracy across standard packing list formats. The system:

  • Extracts pallet numbers, produce names, calibre, box counts, and weights
  • Handles multi-page documents and complex table layouts
  • Learns from corrections to improve over time

All extracted data should be reviewed by your team before approval.

How long does document processing take?

Most documents are processed in 10–30 seconds. Complex multi-page PDFs or images requiring OCR may take up to 60 seconds.

Can I correct extraction errors?

Yes. If the extraction produces incorrect data, you can:

  1. Supersede the document with a corrected version
  2. Contact support to flag recurring extraction issues

Account & Security

How does passwordless login work?

Instead of passwords, Trackberry uses magic links:

  1. Enter your email on the sign-in page
  2. Receive a magic link via email
  3. Click the link to authenticate

Magic links expire after 20 minutes and can only be used once.

Can I belong to multiple organizations?

Yes. A single Trackberry account can be a member of multiple organizations. Switch between them from the organization menu.

How is my data secured?

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Authentication via secure, time-limited magic links
  • Role-based access control limits what each user can see and do
  • Full audit logging of all actions
  • Data hosted in secure, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure

Inbound Emails

What email address do I send documents to?

Your organization's inbound email address is your-slug@in.trackberry.ag — replace your-slug with your organization's URL slug.

Can I add the Trackberry address to a team distribution list?

Yes. You can add your Trackberry inbound address as a member of any team distribution list or group alias (e.g., Google Groups, Microsoft 365 distribution lists). Trackberry will detect the delivery even when its address only appears in the email envelope, not in the To or CC fields.

What happens when someone replies to a shipment email?

Trackberry automatically threads the reply to the correct shipment using email headers. Any attachments are added to the shipment, and the email body is analyzed for status updates.

What if someone sends an email about a shipment outside the thread?

If the email subject contains a transport reference (B/L or AWB number) that matches an existing shipment, Trackberry automatically matches it. Otherwise, a new shipment is created.

Does Trackberry read the email body or just the attachments?

Both. Attachments are processed through the document extraction pipeline as usual. The email body is analyzed by AI to classify the message, extract key dates, and suggest status changes.

What does "Auto-applied" mean on a message?

When AI analyzes an email and suggests a status change (e.g., "arrived"), Trackberry can apply it automatically for low-risk transitions. The "Auto-applied" badge indicates this happened without manual intervention.

Can I override an auto-applied status change?

Yes. Auto-applied changes work through the normal status transition system. You can manually update the shipment status at any time.

Public Tracking

How do I share a shipment with someone outside my organization?

Enable Public Status Pages in your organization settings. Each shipment then gets a shareable tracking URL that anyone can view without logging in.

What information is visible on the public page?

The tracking map, transport details, status, and containers are always shown. You can also choose to share specific document types and packing summaries in your organization settings.

How do email subscriptions work?

Visitors enter their email on the public tracking page and click a confirmation link. After confirming, they receive email updates when the shipment status, ETA, or transport reference changes. Each email includes an unsubscribe link.

Feedback & Feature Requests

How do I submit feedback or request a feature?

Click the Feedback button in the bottom-right corner of any page. You can submit bug reports, feature requests, questions, or general feedback. You can also browse and vote on other users' suggestions at trackberry.ag/feedback.

Can I submit feedback anonymously?

You don't need a Trackberry account to submit feedback — just provide an email address. If you're signed in, your account is linked automatically.

Can I make my feedback private?

Yes. When submitting feedback, choose Private visibility. Private feedback is only visible to you, your organization members, and the Trackberry team.
